Lapse in Lighting

A couple of friends of mine just had a 9-day vacation during which they had no lights or watering system so the plants were just sitting in the dark. Now, a lot of the leaves have shriveled up and the lower leaves are yellow. Each one is about 1 meter tall. Is there any specific course of action he should take? Or should he just dry out what's left and start over?

Cannabis is very strong plant you should never give up. Even if it looks like it`s "dying" theres some tricks to bring it back to life.

Can I assume they are in soil?

If so try to give them some water and start back with 1/2 strength nutrients for the first few watering and they may come back.

Then again they may not either but you have little to loose at this point.

I hope they learned a lesson at least.
