I wish I was somewhere that this was on the voting box. I was lucky enough to be active duty military stationed in San Diego (which give you the right to vote in that state) when prop 215 was on the ballot. I look forward to the day when it happens in IL. We get State bills every other year or so, but the general attitude in Springfield is that they don't want to go against the Federal laws despite overwhelming support. That could change if the current dems on the campaign trail keep their word that they will not go after states who have passed these laws.

I encourage EVERYONE who resides in CA to take up an afternoon or two of your life to help this out. You will be glad you did.
