Here is a YouTube link to a video I captured off of a local news program. The story appears to be a little more than slanted toward the negative. Much of what the people say who are being interviewed appears to be out of context, and it just burns me up more than a little bit.

I'm not sure what is being taught in Journalism and Broadcasting schools these days, but back in my day 'credibility' and an even-handed approach were gospel (if you pardon the terminology.)

I don't think anything they say was false, but they sure as fuck put a nice spin on it.

Yeah, getting in a car after taking a hit of salvia ain't gonna be pretty, but that means you should make it illegal to get in a car after taking a hit, not making it illegal, period. Just like alcohol. And since when do the opinions of two kids have relevance to anything? Oh, and packaged like candy? What candy is that guy eating? o_O

I agree. Precautions are obvious. You wouldn't (or rather shouldn't) take anything that alters your perception and jump behind the wheel, operate heavy equipment, be a crossing guard, babysit toddlers, or whatever!

Kind of looks as if they asked the right questions and took what they wanted.

They played this story up for several days before it aired. They never said what the substance was in any of the teasers, but I had a hunch as to what it was going to be. Couldn't resist recording and putting it on YouTube.

this is the kind of problem that people are making for salvia, CLICK HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYxkp62veWE)

no idea about setting, the goverment should make it mandatory to stress the idea of setting and experiences on the package!!!!! not just make it illegal!

peace and love!

lol that video is a familiar site, his friends are getting it all wrong though, half the time theyre yelling "steve! steve!", and half the time theyre laughing at him

i gave salvia to a friend a few weeks ago, i had my alchemist toolkit on a table nearby, with glass vials of ketamine, mdma, dmt and a few others, when the trip started, he got up out his seat, went straight to the table the box was on, and pulled the box off the table and it went BANG on the floor

Luckily no drugs were harmed :)

short of a padded room in a mental asylum, it is very hard to create a really perfect space to trip on salvia in

Nah i dont think he broke through, he clearly retained full visual contact with reality and the ability to talk, he can go further than that

I've always thought that once I have enough money to build my own home, I'm going to build a room with soft cushioned walls and floors, with a lock that can only be opened by proving my cognitive there-ness (i.e. by having to solve some sort of clearheadedness-requiring problem such as a math problem or something).
