Combination of salvia and DMT?

I would be interested in hearing reports on the combination of salvia and DMT. As I mentioned in the thread DreaMTime Blend (http://www.thegrowreport.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=868), I have a small amount of Dreamtime left - probably enough for 1 decent experience - and the supplier has ceased operations. So I've contemplated combining it with salvia to see what happens. But I think in the end I'm deciding that I would be much better off accumulating more experience with both plants separately before doing a combo.

Max mentioned recently that he had taken the two in succession. Any words of wisdom, Max?

I took them in succession, i didnt combine them

because i thought the salvia experience wasnt strong enough, when i came out of it and got back to normal, i smoked DMT and had a full breakthrough experience, the dmt trip seemed to last longer than it normally does, and i thought that this might possibly be because of the salvia that i had done before, but that is highly speculative there could be many other reasons why i felt the dmt lasted longer

as far as actually combining salvia with dmt, im sure that would be a very interesting experience, i vaguely remember reading about that on bluelight ages ago, people were discussing how to go about actually taking this combo, because the extremely quick onset of both salvia and dmt presents a big practical problem, i suppose you would have to take the salvia first, because it takes slightly longer than dmt to come on, then very quickly you would have to smoke the dmt before the salvia experience became too strong

i think that would be very tricky to do in practise, dmt is difficult to smoke anyway, i imagine smoking it whilst you were just coming up on salvia would be very hard to do, and you would probably need a sitter

when i give dmt to people i always do all the pipe heating for them, and then hold the pipe to their lips so that all they have to do is suck on the pipe and relax, because otherwise people inevitably get it wrong, i think that would be the best way to do the salvia/dmt combo, have a sitter who does all the dmt pipe-heating for you

I was thinking more of combining Dreamtime blend with salvia. Both are smokable herb blends - Dreamtime containing an alkaloid extract of acacia leaf. It seemed to burn much the same way as salvia so I thought it would be possible to mix the two.

I have yet to try pure DMT crystal and I suppose it will make Dreamtime seem like a walk in the park.

oh right, that sounds like a great idea, salvinorin and DMT act in 2 entirely different ways, on different parts of the brain as far as i understand, so that ought to make for an interesting experience

Yes, their similar durations and broadly similar effects (ie taking you to another dimension) make me think it would be interesting. But I'd rather get more experience with them individually, or at least hear some reports of others who have tried the combo.
