HELP! My PC ate iTunes!

Hi guys, my cyber curse has struck again....This time, when trying to install the latest update to iTunes, my PC just ate it!

Now, I when i try and open it, it says that there are missing components and asks me to reinstall. When I try and reinstall, it says that it's already installed! I can't remove it from the program list in add/remove programs, coz it's not there!

HELP! This is frazzling my poor stoned brain!

I just updated mine and it worked just fine, guess I got lucky.
Have you gone to www.apple.com and tried manually downloading I-tunes?

What is the exact error message you get?

try useing system restore and go back a day or 2 to when it worked properly

Cheers Lendog & Tink. I went and downloaded it straight from Apple. Had to install the missing parts and then uninstall it and then reinstall it :mad:

hey QN - sorry only saw this thread right now. the recent update also ate my iTunes too :( but i crossed my fingers, rebooted, rolled a spliff and waited....then when it came back up, it was all find again! i can only hope that this may solve your issue too and will even roll up a spliff and smoke it for you while you reboot :p
