Heya Lefty, am busy re-listening to the old story time shows and in show 3 you mention that you had a story about Pete the midget but would tell it another time. What ever happened to that story? I really loved the old story time shows (as well as the new show) and found them really entertaining so I guess this is kinda a request for more stories. Also asking other forum members to send in their stories for you to read. I plan on sending some of mine in some time, just that I work on a computer all day and when I get home the last thing I wanna do is type up a long story. Maybe will write on this weekend and send it in.

Hey MycoPhile - try recording it or leaving it as a Skype voicemail (or a series of) so that Lefty can play them on the show!

And Lefty, don't hold back - bring on the Midget story!

Hey Lefty, I've still got a few untold stories about Burning Man if you're interested. . . . I'd love to share them with you in the lounge. . . . BTW, I love your show . . . can't wait for the next one in a few days. . . . Lorenzo

It depends on which one you ask. The ones I have met don't want to be pandered too with that sort of label.

There is one in Venice beach CA I met on the boardwalk that is nothing more than a little bastard!

Why wasn't the term porg not used! It's better than midget! Believe it was the politically correct term but fell out of favour but sometimes wonder how truthful that was!

I hope it is true and that some mad politically correct ninny created a word that everyone would have found equally insulting in the long run. As I say...the word was banded about but it may have just been made up by the media.
Think of the new meaning it could bring to that famous opera (or may have been musical) P.O.R.G.Y and Bess!! I'd pay to see that one!;)

I'd find being called a little person kinda insulting if I were them, little being a word that not only referrers to height.
