Cannabis may be the most resourceful plant ever discovered on this planet. It may be used effectively as...

...a medicine
...a food (no other single plant source has the essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form, nor has the essential fatty acids in as perfect a ratio to meet human nutritional needs)
...an alternative to alcohol
...textile
...fuel source (biomass to replace fossil fuels)
...construction material
...paper
...replacement for non-biodegradable plastics
...fun
...meditation
...a rotation crop to revitalize soil stripped of nutrients by other crops
...recreational consumable that does not kill
...as THE main natural resource to stop deforestation and global warming

These are some facts from ms wink, thanks to the Galaxy Global Eatery Cookbook:

The Galaxy Global Eatery Hemp Cookbook also provides some interesting hemp facts.
Here are a couple:
*For over 200 years, you could pay your taxes with cannabis hemp anywhere in America.

*Hemp has lower net nutrient requirements than other common farm crops because it can return 60-70% of the nutrients it takes from the soil when dried in the field.

*Hemp has few weed or insect enemies, and can be grown without chemical pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers. By comparison, 50% of all pesticides are used on cotton.
