Liberty Cap Dosage

Hey everyone, was wondering if someone could help me out with the potency of semilanceata vs cubesis. Right now I have 50 (not the ones I picked, it seems they must have been lookalikes as I ate 30 last year and didn't trip. From what I've read and the helpful advice given to me in the other thread, it seems I would certainly have known for sure - they look so similar!). I am wondering what the equivalent dosage is in cubensis. From what I've heard 50 is a heroic dose as they are quite potent. I don't have a scale and can't afford one right now, anyone know what the weight may be in cubensis? Peace, Ali

It is not as simple as that. Many things can affect potency. 50 libs are never going to blow you head off unless they are something very odd and special. You should get a half decent affect from 50 though. If your not sure take half and then the other half in an hour or so later if your not getting where you want to be.

Ah ok thanks. I had this idea that the level of psilocybin was basically constant throughout various species, though now that I think of it I haven't actually ever researched that aspect of the mushroom. Until now I have bought Dutch shrooms either there or in Germany and they always come with the weight on the box (for the next few months at least ). I was going to take all 50 regardless as I have heard some reports from this batch and it seems that amount would serve me. Thanks again, peace.

In my experience 50 is a good dose, 25 did almost nothing, 75 and I only remember colours and laughter.
I usually take them in tens at the time with 15 min between, it makes the common a little more easily, and the dosing is more controllable. Liberty caps is the most uniform shrooms, 50 shrooms will always give roughly the same amount of psilocybin.
Inn contrast cubies will wary enormously between batches and flushes and 3 grams may give totally different amounts of active ingredients from one flush to the next.

Yea I've definitely found variations with cubensis, have had trips on 10 gram fresh that were similar to those on 30 grams fresh. Of course set and setting play huge roles. I always find it amusing how smart shops in Holland attempt to classify different strains as "body high, very introspective trip" etc. I think those are completely arbitrary classifications and anyone who knows even the smallest amount about the experience will know that it relies wholly on you as the creator (within your setting)

Not true I have had wildly varying doses off 50 liberty cap mushrooms.

i had a about 50 liberty caps 2 days ago, was not impressed by that dosage.. but it did make for a fun time. my suggestion, 100 liberty caps will do the job..

i felt as if i was right on the threshold of any visuals..
