Ha ha this is awesome. It follows the stories of how all those toys like Thomas the Tank engine were removed due to the lead paint, and now all toys are tested (independently, not before they go on shelves unfortunately). The toys have a chemical that metabolises into GHB (although some papers are printing it as GBH due to its street name Grievous Bodily Harm) although it was supposed to be a non-toxic glue that made these beads stick and they're saying it may have been a way to get the drug out to the knowing public... hmm, how many toys out there with the 'Don't Eat' wording may have LSD or something in em?
Two kids have been hospitalised, although we'll probably be seeing a lot of teens being reported as having thought they were eating 'hard candy' at the party last night. Plus, they come as small clear balls, easily unnoticeable if used to spiked drinks- they also dissolve real quick with enough liquid... do the Chinese not like us Aussies?
To add to this, my lil bro has actually bought two or three packets of the stuff as he loves making shit out of them and has even taken his art work to school. Now we have to get them off him and tell him we gotta throw his favourite toy out, shame... cuz it was the only thing that got him to sit down and shut up!

Now if they included hallucinogens with the toy ... then we'd be talking.
Probably a different target consumer though.
