Season 3 Weeds Question

For those of you who haven't seen it, in the third season of Weeds, a neighbour throws A LOT of weed into a swimming pool in order to ruin it.

In the show it's ruined but I was wondering, if a catastrophic event happened, wouldn't most of the THC stick with the plant and couldn't you make bubble hash out of it?

Seems reasonable. My only concern would be with the chlorine that was in the pool?

chlorine would be my only concern as well. . .water wouldn't ruin anything in the plant as the good stuff isn't water soluble.

Yep, and the fact that the bud will look different. This is why people that preach "water curing" say that the only thing negative it does is make it harder to sell. So in a state like California where the supply is high with primo buds, the aestheic looks and smell of the bud are deal breakers.
