My volcano got thrown hard at the floor few days ago- while turned on- but by some stroke of magic- she still works! Its quite dented, wonky, and wobbly but fully operational. I think it was VERY lucky that mines an older model- with metal bottom- i think a new one might have cracked. Probably a sign to buy a volcano digit- or rather demand one from "volcano thrower". Apart from the obvious murder- i really dont know what id have done if i couldnt have had a bag to calm down! I hope no-one elses volcs get treated so bad. Will post pics of damage in a few mins.

wow thats odd. I had a similar expereince at up in smoke cafe (see later dopecasts to learn about it) and we had to send it back to germany to get the power cord replaced. took two fricken months to get back.
my herbal aire has taken a spill still works just fine. no dents etc. id have to say volcanos don't come on top for durability in the vaporizor market. seen other vapes take so much more beatings.

Still no pics sorry i'll grab them later.
Hudsonrulez: strange when my power button broke- storz & bickel had it back extremely fast- less than 2 weeks prob 1 week actually. Thats their ideal turnaround apparantly. Mine was a warranty repair tho so maybe thats why it was quick.
I dont think many electrical devices would work after the abuse mine just got- it got thrown HARD. Every surface is out of shape- the knob is stiff, the base is wobbly but she still purrs like a kitten.

It wasn't the button but the actual cord (ie the piece that connects cord to unit). maybe it was a complicated repair.

Good to know that they are strong, the volcano is certainly living up to its name.
I hate to distract from the main topic, but I just really had to ask since I just thought of this...It is customary to give a name to a piece or a bong, but does that hold true for a vaporizer? Would it be silly or strange to give it a name?
