This is my peyote cactus I bought her at a Raja Ram gig about five years ago this dude had a whole tray of them for £20 each (luckily I got him to save a good one until the end of the party as I didnt fancy its chances much being carried round at a hot sweaty rave hahah). She was about one and a half inches across when I bought her and is now about two and a half inches across with 9 pups growing around the bottom. There was ten but I cut one off and for a cutting that now lives at a friends and is growing after a year.
Ok during that time shes had her ups and downs living from growrooms to window sils shes been dropped about 3 times (oops) gone saggy from too much water once and suffered from cold on the window sil a bit. But generally lives a happy life in a grow room and gets watered maybe 1-2 times a month should this be more or less?
She used to flower quite ofter when she was younger big pink flower from the middle but she hasnt flowered for a few years now since the pups have grown is this related or if not why hasnt she flowered lately does anyone know? Should I feed her ever?
Also I know very little about harvesting preparing for eating or dosage can anyone help with these? Is there anyway to harvest without killing like slicing off the main bit and leaving the pups?
By the way I ordered a peyote for a friend from everyonedoesit.com for £21 with postage it came well packaged and arrived quick nice little cactus about an inch and half highly recomended if your after buying one!
Also I have never taken mescaline or any cactus but have taken many other hallucinogens and have been looking forward to this for many years now.
