I noticed that my volcano seems to leak a small plume of vapor while fill up the bag. The vapor seems to be emitting from the small crack where the easy valve seals, it's not a big deal but I am a little ocd and it bothers me.
Also anyone else have problems with the screws vibrating out of the volcano? I managed to lose one of the screws that attaches the silver dome to the machine and they require a funky shaped screw driver to screw them back in? Anyone know what size the screws are so that I may just buy my own?

I assume there's more than one screw?
You could remove one of the other screws and take it to your local hardware store to match it up.

If memory serves me right they sell (or give) a small tool to tighten the screws on the volcano. Its a minor fix that can easily be done at home. as for your easy valve sounds like its time for a replacement.

No problems (afaik) with screws on my Volcano but I have the same annoying leak problem. I've tried replacing bags, gauzes, blue rings and black rings (it's a solid valve)....but still nothing.
As I have an older Volcano, it has a slower fan feed so I try not to fill the bags to capacity as the leak only starts to happen (from the same place as yours), when the bag is about 75-80% full.
I'd be interested to also hear any suggestions or solutions others may have - thanks in advance :D

with the screws its a faulty volcano, send it back to storz & bickel and they will send you back yours fixed or a new one. go to the official site and theres a link thats like contact us, and send them an email and they'll reply with what you need to do. When mine went faulty, i got an email less then 12 hours later.
With the bag, i had a similar problem with my original valve set, and i used the brat bags, (the ones they send) and i would always lose vapor. then i bought Renolds Turkey Oven Bags, and i have never noticed the problem. But also the volcano episode of the Dopecast, #86: The ULTIMATE Volcano DIGIT Review. its really informative.
Hope this helps a little. But IMHO the easy bags might be easy, but if your a heavy smoker and like a clean smoke, they can get expensive. and 91% alcohol is like $2 at walmart.

i know we have talked about this before BB, are you sure your fitting the bags correctly? the reason i ask is if you do everything right it won't leak, especially if you have changed all the wear and tare bits, the odd time mine has leaked it was my fault as i hadn't fitted the bag right (normally to stoned lol)
