Moisture content of weed

Would it be reasonable to say that vaping relies on the moisture content of weed, and that dry weed should be moistened?

I vaped some already well vaped weed yesterday. It just burned and tasted 'orrible. But when I added a few drops of water I got some legit hits.

not really. cause all that was there was just water vapor. I have never really noticed different amount of vapor in dry weed as opposed to moist weed.

Hudson isn't it that with "dank" bud there is more essential oils with cannabinoids in them that have if not mental effects then added flavor to the vape?
