dear people of the grow report....its getting chilly up here in old new england and this morning i noticed a frost had made itself a home on my plant tops....many of my other plants i.e. rubber plants and ficuses and other house plants are still outside but they are not showing the frost.....how bad is this....we are supposed to have a stretch of sunny day and cooler nights here...the temps are staying above freezing but i did notice the fan leaves of the plants are getting hit and begining to wilt a bit...the closer smaller leaves seem fine...the buds are getting a dark color.....can i let them go a lil more or just be happy and harvest what i got...i should mention that tri's are 100% cloudy with very few ambers
thanks all

I'd be inclined to keep going though I'd wrap them up with horticultural fleece for an added bit of protection.:)

Can I persuade you to maybe do at least a partial harvest? It would be a shame to loose it all, or have it degrade the cell structure from freezing, or get moldy. Harvesting at different stages also gives you variety within each variety... spice of life thing. Just my $.02.

You could cover it. That's what my mom does with her tomato plants when they still have tomatos on them at then end of the season.
You could just drape some clear plastic over them or make some sort of mini greenhouse if you didn't want the plastic touching the plants

Hell yeah man, can we have a book thread.
Just finished "Paco's Story" by Larry Heinemann and it was better the second time around. Last time I read it was 89, perhaps one of the "features" of being a stoner is that re-reading a book it's like the first time man. Anyhow very well written, hard-hitting book. F'You wanna know more do the Wiki dance man.
I'm a Brit but about 70pc of my collection is USA (hate the term American) authors, 10pc Brit and the rest various.

PS yeah a book thread
PPS couldn't resist, from the WIKI
Paco's Story relates the quasi-picaresque postwar experiences of its titular protagonist, who is haunted by the ghosts of his dead comrades from the war. These ghosts provide the novel's narrative voice. The story deals with the role of the American GI as both victim and victimizer. It is interesting to note that ghost stories are common in both American and Vietnamese literature about the war.
PPPS not really in a financial position to buy books at the moment, got a shed-load though, some sort of book exchange would be ace. Perhaps squashing a reefer in the pages, O no I didn't say that, arghhh
