My vape is out of order : (

Hello everyone...

I have the "easy vape".

This unit uses a glass bowl on the end of a hose. and the herb sits in the top on the screen about 3/4 inch from the end of the heating element

My glass bowl broke, because its made of glass and of course i dropped it one day while vaping outside.

I was just wondering if we could maybe have a little brain storm on making some sort of replacement bowl for it. because i'm not paying 40 bucks anytime soon for a new one.

I know i don't post much but i'm sick not using my vape and i've made like 20 different things and none work right.

it would be handy to know what the dimensions of the bowl and the fitting that it goes into is ...maybe a lightbulb would fit it ?

just suck it up and spend the 40 dollars. there is very little in the way in what you can do unless you know a place that blows glass and is able to fix glass material by merging it under a torch.

This is why am not a fan of vapes with glass attachments because they can break so easily. Honestly I can't think of a good way to modify your bowl because of the design of your vape.

You could try duct taping the bowl with the broken bits but other than that there is not much else you can do.

I actually did buy one about 2 months ago from the head shop in ann arbor, but the lady gave me one for a vapor brothers and it didnt fit, so since then i was really upset and never went to find another one.

Thanks...a test tube is a really good idea! I never thought of that. I know you can use a diamond blade to cut glass, so maybe i'll try that.......just got to figure out where i can buy a test tube. Any scientists know where they sell those, haha!

Excellent idea if you have a test tube and a glass cutter kicking around. If you don't you'll probably end up spending more than forty dollars on the test tube, glass cutter etc.
(And if you don't get it right first time, maybe factor in the cost of sticking plasters, bandages etc.:D)

right here goes ...get a sharp knife ..heat it in a flame til its as hot as it can get ...hold a test tube in one hand (best wear gloves and eye protectors)and touch the knife onto the tube were you want to cut it ..slowly turn the test tube all the way around ..the glass should seperate easily without breaking either end .
