View Full Version : Flushing too early?

Hey there everyone, I was wondering what one would do if they realized that they started the final flush too early - a day or two after they began the flush. Say they were using bubble buckets with GH's 3-part system, and have been using Flora Kleen for 3 days now. When they looked at the trichomes previously, they could have sworn they were mostly cloudy and starting to turn amber, but perhaps that was only the one leaf, and they jumped the gun... because say they are now seeing a lot of clear ones, maybe 25% clear and 75% cloudy, and only a couple ambers. Is it too late to do anything other than harvest early, or can you stretch out the flush for a few more days to give the trichomes some more time to mature? If so, how long can this be done- what will it do to the plant? Did they just nerf their final product, or can they recover from beginning the flush too early?

If you are looking for a week you can just use Ph balanced water with some B1 and finish with that.
More then that you can go back to feeding them again at your last cycle feeding regiment if you think it will take a few weeks, that should not cause you any problems.
Just make sure there is NO "N" in your feeding regiment at this point.
I guess it's too late to remind you to check several locations on the plant with your lighted 30x pocket microscope, so I won't say that. :D
They will be fine either way.

You could switch to plain pH adjusted water.
They're using up the stored nutes now anyway, so it won't hurt to let em' go a little while longer.
Never mind, I see Zandor answered it :)

Thanks, guys. Zandor, would that be the B1 you've mentioned from Home Depot? Or would Superthrive work?

sttony is correct NO Thrive alive.
The B1 is Western States B1 sold at most Home Depot stores at least around here anyway. Not sure about the rest of the country but if you are lucky enough to find it get plenty it's good stuff and your plants love it.
Peace
