I am a resident of the state of MA, and as a lot of people have heard, Q2 on our ballots in Nov will be for decriminalization of marijuana. Everything up to 1 oz. will be a $100 fine. I know my state politics, and the politicians here are extremely crooked. What can one expect from this decriminalization act? What will the asshole feds role be in all this? Could this be a wicked trap? On a mock ballot, 76% voted yes, which those are usually off by 5% plus or minus. So inevitably it will pass.

If I were in that position, here's what I would do:
I would be going door-to-door as often as I could, dressed very well, and offering informational brochures/flyers to local residents with the factual information about marijuana and how decrim. would be a good thing. That is something that I know works from past experience. Get other people to help you out, meetup.com is a good way to find help, and I know that many in the Libertarian/Ron Paul meetups would probably be more than happy to help out as they are very experienced in GOTV(Get Out The Vote) actions such as precinct working!!!
Then, go and vote for this when the time comes. Hope this passes in your state!!!

Join NORML and ASA they have packets that will help you educate people and inform the general public. If you don't have a chapter there...they will help you start one!!
Good luck and you are doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do!!
Peace
