The anti-Medical Marijuana (MM) groups are saying that if MM is made legal it will make it easier for non-MM users to get it and doctors could perscribe it to any one, even people who did not need it. Well this is just ludicrous to me. How is what they are saying about MM any different then any other opioids? Like codeine, morphine, hydromorphone (Dilaudid®), oxycodone (Percodan®), fentanyl (Duragesic®), meperidine (Demerol®), pentazocine (Talwin®) and propoxyphene (Darvon®). I could say the same things about these drugs that they are saying about MM! The only thing I would add is that these drugs are DEADLY! They can kill you. Easily! Take to much of any one of these drugs, just once, and its game over. Take to much MM and there are a few things that can happen: 1. You have a whitie. 2: You fall asleep. 3. NOTHING! I know im not saying any thing to you all that you dont allready know. My hope is that some one that does not know this will stumble across it and learn somthing, or at best next time you find your self talking to a anti-MM person and they bring this up you can easly corect them.

and by the way can any one explain why its called "Medical" Marijuana? In my mind its like saying "Medical" Penicillin. Hope you know what i mean.

Ignorant Argument:
"If we make marijuana legal for medicine, that will send the wrong message to our children that it's okay to use marijuana!"

Seems valid enough, right?

Well, here's what happens to teen marijuana usage AFTER medical marijuana is introduced into the state. . .IT DROPS!!!

That's right, after the introduction of marijuana as a MEDICINE, it has been shown that teen usage of marijuana decreases significantly!!!
