doe's your partner smoke?

i wanted to start this thread after reading about Ganjagirl's first try at getting high. :D

i wondered if any other members had a partner that smokes?

if not how doe's it affect the relationship...if at all?

personally, my girl doesn't smoke MJ.

she used to but it made her real paranoid so she stopped before i met her....she drinks though.

she's real cool about it though (she will have a small grumble if i've got the real stink green cos it stinks the whole flat out)

we go to dam together and have a great time.

every now and again i do wish she smoked a bit (like in dam when you get the bomb s**t and want someone to smell/taste/smoke it with...i get real, REAL excited about good bud) but i understand where she's coming from.

at least i dont have to share my stash hahahahahahaha (only joking)

My previous partner of 7 years smoked as much as I do and that was very, very cool - being able to bong on, play Xbox, drink some bourbon, play ball etc....

My partner now does not smoke and never has. Tobacco, MJ, nothing. He's cool with it and only ocassionaly says something when I come inside after having a joint in a playful way about 'his stinky/stoner girlfriend'.

I wish he would one day at least take a hit on the Vapouriser bag (he's very against tobacco and smoking it)....but at this stage, the only hope he has given me is maybe in Amsterdam next year - said he might try a space shake or the Volcano. (Although, he did try some brownies I made at NY but fell asleep before midnight 'cos they made him so tired).

But generally, if I'm off doing anything stoner-related, he won't come with me. Nor will he ever come outside and keep me company when having a joint etc. He really has something against it, but would never say anything....

Instead, he drinks - not ever night, but maybe a beer a night 5 nights out of 7. He has just got his license back - lost it for 3 years after his second drink-driving offence and now has to blow into a contraption (an 'Interlock device' and have a BAC of 0.0) each time he drives for the next 3 years. He also has permanent injuries and a huge steel rod in his leg from the last drink-driving accident.

He's certainly turned over a new leaf and it's like he's a stoner (he listens to Queer Ninja's show and agrees with our viewpoints on cannabis decriminalization, greedy governments who like to lump pot under the same umbrella as speed and ecstasy etc) but unfortunately he just doesn't partake :( :(

aahhhh the wonderful alcohol.....great drug.....NOT :p

i gave up drinking about 7 years ago when i got ill with my stomach and now its really strange to go out with my friends and watch everyone get more and more drunk and uncontrollable. lol

if my girlfriend drinks just one too many she gets very boisterous and can be a little bit rude to people (she thinks she's being playful hahahaha) i've had to take her home a few times :D slightly embarrassing. :o

i smoke in the kitchen with the door closed and get the same as BB with the stinky stoner comments and stuff (my girlfriend just doesn't like her work clothes smelling of weed....fair enough, she's a chartered surveyor)

i love smoking MJ, have done for 15 years now (started when i was 12....silly boy) and will do for years to come, im sure.

my partner knows she will have to live with it like i will have to live with her drunken rudeness :D lol

lol esse.b :D ....unlike my other half, i don't drink very much. sure, the odd beer here and then to cap off a sunny day, but otherwise if i'm at a party or social situation, i can leave the alcohol (and the calories :p) in favour of weed. the reason being that i become kinda edgy and aggressive, tending towards violent :( not good! so needless to say, weed is a much better social vice for me to indulge in :cool:

It really is the best feeling being able to share that experience with someone who is close to you. I dont think it would work out between the two of us if she didnt support what i did. As yall know it was her first real time last weekend but i have been doing it for a couple of years now. My days consist of work, the grow report, the dopefiend podcasts, and her and its great to know that i can have them all. :D I wish yall the best with your partners!

My girlfriend will toke up with me whenever ive got a doobie or a blunt, she used to smoke the bong with me, but even i dont smoke as much bongs as i used to maybe twice a week, shes not so big on my volcano, its not that she doesn't like it but i think she preffers smoking, but ive had her hit it a few times!

We both drink at the weekends with friends and whatnot, but it will always consist of a joint going round, infact all my buds and buds gf's never refuse a joint!

My gf of 20 years hardly ever uses maybe on a special occasion.

She fell in love me when i was so out of it on shrooms she just couldn't resist my charms. ;-) In fact I think for most of our loved up period I was usually stoned :D

But I think she has kept me a bit straighter over the years than if we hadn't been together, which is not really a bad thing.

I don't think she hardly notices when I'm stoned or shrooming now its just me.

By the way we also enjoy a drink.....I know this is the dopecast an all but somethimes you can't beat an alcohol/bud mix fortunaltely I'm a happy or fall asleep drunk.That is the one drug we do share socially.

When I first met my girlfriend she did smoke but never as much as me. Every once in a while I'll get her to take a pull form the joint or a vapor bag but she does not smoke anywhere near as much as I do. She has absolutely no problem that I smoke. Like someone else said though, whenever I get her to try to smell a good stanky strain she turns her head away because of the pungent smell. My love for our precious plant does not affect our relationship in any way. I guess I am very fortunate because of this.

shit man sorry to hear that....revenge is never a good thing so it's worth her taking a moment to think about how beneficial and expensive that piece of kit she threw, really is!!
