I went really indica heavy this year, then I noticed I was only smoking one strain, called "Sweet Thai" (ThaiXEarly Skunk), beautiful smell with a light happy stone. AND it hit me I ain't growing it this year, so even though well into July I went ahead and sprouted a bean

The sun has been merciless but I stuck her out in it, 12+ hours of direct light a day and in only three weeks

No sign of flowering yet I hope she grows some more before she does and I have Sweet Thai for next year.
My strain of 2007, Sweet Thai, won two cups here in Spain, it's a lovely smoke. I don't think herb should be judged until it's been cured for at least six months, makes a hell of a difference.

Must be nice being able to grow outside without the fear of helicopters, planes or satellites looking into your yard. Must be nice... Sigh.

I too wish I could cultivate outdoors, the Sun is an amazing ball of gas that does wonders for life on this planet.
Please keep us updated Podders, I am jealous and would like to at least watch you grow outside and dream.
Peace

Zandor,
Hey I'll be sure to keep you posted on the progress on this extremely late plant. It's all in the hands of the weather now. She smells strongly at ten paces.
Is it really so dangerous to plant outdoors over there? Hey I just get by with a couple of plants not planted together.
Anyway my friend this one (from a previous year) is just for you, a Diesel cross from a local breeder

Looking great Podders. When do you expect your first frost?
Add me to the "wish I could grow them tall and proud in the back yard next to the tomatoes" club.

Well this is really an exercise into late planting and it looks like mid-July here is NOT too late to germinate.
She'll not produce much but it should be fairly tasty.

Whilst not a great amount, not bad considering the time frame. And nice to see these seed banks produce consistent seeds, she smells just like the batch from last year. A deep complex smell provided by the Thai component. Be a min. 6 weeks before I try her.

Yeah, I can tell you that seeds that have been gifted to me by others have been consistently better and more uniform then a lot of the gear I've shelled out for. You would think that in such a high profit business, that a quality product would be a prerequisite. Glad you landed a good set.
