Hey I have misplaced my book on growing shrooms. It said that when fruiting you can use a mixture of water/peroxide to help combat contamination while misting...does anyone know the correct mixture? I would appreciate the help...thanks

I use a cue tip with alcohol on it to snatch up bad stuff on the substrate. A butane torch will clear up anything growing on the perlite. But just mix 4 or 5 ounces in the water you mix with the perlite in the fruiting chamber.

thanks y'all. I had my mushroom book Psilocybin Mushroom Handbook: Easy Indoor and Outdoor Cultivation by L. G Nicholas and Kerry Ogame and I could swear that it said to mist with the water/peroxide. I lent it out and didn't have it on hand...hope I didn't mess up real bad. I still have 3 cakes soaking before I put them in the chamber, so I still have those. I was trying both methods just to see the difference.
I am hoping to get some for prints so I can do a regrow and try Zeke's casing method.
Anyway wish me luck.
