Is it better to trim your crop by first only cutting the fan leaves leaving the small ones to curl up during drying for about a week in order for the plant to ripen and then remove the remaining leaves or is it better to fully trim once harvested ?
THANKS

No way man!
I tried that once. It is much more work to trim after drying.
I find it's best and fastest to trim and manicure as u cut branches off the plant.

Good answer, I too figured that out many years ago.
One day I would like to try those power trimmers, have you experience with them?

trimming is a bitch and seems kinda of like a waste...i was trying to manicure my crop this year and found that just get close with the scissors...get all the big leaf off and most of the kola leafs around the buds...then dry the shit out of them and that extraneous leaf will just crumble off....i save mine cause it was loaded with tricromes and feel somewhere down the road that stuff could come in as usefull...but if you get close with cutting early ya the stuff just crumbles off leaving lovely smokable buds....good luck buddy

While its still in the ground I strip off all the fan leaves. Chop and hang the plant to dry. After its dryed, I trim the buds and cure them.
The trim is then extra (crispy) dried, run through a (window) screen and put it into a jar (in the freezer) until I'm ready to make hash :)
