So what do you think are you sold on worm tea yet?

If not lets talk!

I've used worm compost before a long time ago and it never did me wrong!

I wanted to comment very quickly about your rant about the direction the country is going, and tell you I totally agree!!! It's unfortunate, and so few people are even aware of things like the "NAFTA SuperHighways" and the "North American Union"! I use quotes because officially, these things don't exist, they instead call them things like the Trans-Texas Corridor, and the Security and Prosperity Partnership!!!

Fuckers. . .

2 big things I took from this show.

1> I need more drainage holes. I mean I thought I had enough, but I think I need more drainage for better oxygenation to the root zone and less sitting water.

2> Worm tea sounds gross but its in my next grow :D

It does not smell or is it slimy so the icky factor is a non issue.(I hope)

Worm castings are dry like soil and it washes off your hands easy. I prefer the tea over mixing it in your soil, and with cheese cloth as a filter you can even use it with a Hydroponic system.

Good stuff that worm poop!!

How do you suppose we can use this worm poop in a hydro, will this require a system where lets say you feed nutrients for a few days and then the worm tea the next few days, or would you recommend just droppin the tea bag into the nutrient solution...or would just droppin the tea bag into ph'd h2o for the entire veg cycle be enough...Very very nice christmas trees, Santa might leave some presents under there...

Its easy to use in a hydroponic system. You can use it as a spray feeding system, you can use it with a base NPK or you can use it by it's self between feeding.

The think you must do is strain it through cheese cloth to take out the larger parts that have not dissolved in the water.

24-48 hour run of worm tea with Ph balanced water is always a good idea in the veg cycle, but for the first 3 weeks of true flower you can mix it with your base NPK too.

I put some watermelon and tomatoes in my worm bin. They are growing like crazy. I guess its perpetual worm food.
Am I supposed to water my worms? I don't really think so, there seems to be plenty of condensation in there. Nothing seems to drain into my bottom reservoir. But its only a month old any way. I'll give it more time.

I've not got any indoor garden at the moment, however I did use up the remains of my "black gold" to make a tea that I through on the tomatoes, and that certainly seemed to give them a boost and sprout out a fresh set of Romas.

Hey SA, we don't water ours, the food scraps are enough moisture. We are not setting up a vegan worm farm to give that tea a try.

OB, I even used it in my clone's too and I was amazed how well they did. I still have more experimenting to do but so far my trials look amazing!

I am hopping the vegan worm tea will produce even better results.

I think that shot of B1 is the kicker that bring it all together but time will tell if that is right or not.

I'm wondering about using it on 2-3 week old seedlings, to up the N for a better chance (http://thegrowreport.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=335) of females?

A clean paint strainer should do the trick, aye?
