Vegi Tales: The Box

So I decided to seperate out my rooms. Before I have done my grows from begining to end in a single room. But at the first of the year I decided on an entire rebuild, including seperating my veg and flower rooms and doubling the size of flowering area.

The veg/clone box is just about done except I am still needing Panda film, as the shop was out at the time. The box was built with 1/2" plywood and measures 4ftx4ftx5ft (LxWxH). With a door cut out of one side.

The walls were coated with an antibacterial primer and painted with flat white latex paint. A Greenair THC-1 humidistat and fan were hung. To provide optimal humidity and air movement.

New concrete was poured and a plastic pond liner installed to prevent leakage from the box and to allow for easy clean-up. While wire shleving is used to raise the plants off the floor for air circulation and root temp control.

Here it is full of plants.
There are 12 clones of Bubblegum in the back, the right hand side has 4 Swazi skunk, in the middle is 3 small K2 and 3 small Flodica. The 2 bushes in front of the door are Soma's Lavender, which will be cloned for sex this weekend.

How are you venting and what kind of lights did you go with? How come new concrete?

Venting is done with a 150cfm bathroom vent fan for exhaust and passive intake. The box is lit with a 400 watt MH.

New concrete was needed because the floor in my basement is pretty beat-up and slopes to one side. The house was built in the early 1900's and does not have a finished basement.

why don't you get an HPS for those babies? it is your flowering room isn't it? It looks delicous though.

This is just the veg/clone box. My flowering area is 5ft by 8ft and has 1800 watts of mixed HPS and MH.

Looks like one is hung with a bunge cord. Are they permently mounted or do you raise and lower em'?

They are raised and lowered when needed.

Hey, all of your plants look so healthy, and then there is that poor soul in the lower right corner of your flower room pic. Is that one trying to reveg or something?

That was just a left over from harvest. I was thinking of re-veging but she did not make it.
