Hehe thanks guys. As you can see from my avatar, i'm not 100 percent against showing my face- but i have to draw the line somewhere.
Pothead: i also have a 600w 12volt inverter for running the volcano in a car. Its not as good as a generator tho- and worse for environment too, hehe. Decent inverters are about the same price as generators as well unfortunately.

We're working on doing some extreme vaporising locations- like on mountains etc, will post photos if we can do it. So far we have had a few sessions at 5000 year old stone circles, can pretty much guarantee we first people ever to volcano there!

well, as someone who never shows his face in pics either I can completely understand where wegface is coming from. Personally I feel I can do more to help the campaign for legalization if I have a full-time job which allows me to afford the time I spend on podcasting etc. Also, in my case, working in the media, I also have a certain opportunity to allow a more balanced view to be presented. If I lost my job, I wouldn't be able to podcast, and I wouldn't have that position on the inside of the media.

Add to that the recent story of the college professor denied access to the US because the border guards found an article that he'd written online about his former LSD use (http://www.alternet.org/drugreporter/50948/?page=1), despite his having no history of any criminal activity. He's a well-known, respected guy whose first-hand experience of drug use could have helped him spread the truth to hundreds of students and other folk every year, but who's now basically living in exile and unable to return to his job.

So I don't think it's always so helpful to be 100% open about your cannabis use. Who's to say that wegface won't be in some sort of ideal position to help further our cause in the future? He could become a politican or a professor himself, but if authorities or anti-drug media dug up pics of him getting stoned with buddies in a park, that could all be jeopardized.

My generator is made by Wolf and cost around £100- but u can get almost identical one for £50. (mine is emissions compliant as of 2007). Thats all u need plus a power surge protecting plug board is probably a good idea. Worth making an earth rod too.

Theres a few diff ones- smaller the better for carrying tho. I also have a 2kw generator but thats major overkill for 1 or 2 volcanos!

Brilliant. I'm a huge fan of smoking and or shrooming in the great outdoors, def. the way to go. And I def second the idea of a big camping trip meet up of the fans (and perhaps even the Fiend himself if we can ever get him to leave the vapor lounge :p).

First real outdoor session of this year. So we took the genny and volcano to this mad
abandoned Napolionic explosives factory. The site is about 1 mile square on the local marshes and mainly consists of earth mounds LOTS of earth mounds with brick inner so if there was an explosion you would only kill yourself and not your mate working next door!!:eek:
anyway this our favorite mound and can be seen easy from google earth

i finally got myself a small inverter for the car:D:D its only a 150w but with the volcano being 140w its god enough and it has a usb port so i can charge any usb device (up2 5v) so with this beautiful peace of kit i can now go away and power my volcano and at the same time charge my ipod or ds etc :D

i can see that maybe in time to come S&B might have something like this as an added extra? this portable volcano idea seems to be growing so to speak lol

ive included a couple of pic's of mine and have used my volcano bowl as a size comparison, basically its 3 bowls by 3 bowls in size and one bowl in depth

I'm off on me hols next week, staying in a lodge in the lake district.

I'm taking my 'cano and plan on having some outdoor sessions. I don't have a power inverter for my car but I recon if i fill a bag before I leave (I'll put it on a higher temp than normal) it'll last a good half hour til I find a suitable location.

There's a lovely forest 10 mins walk away so it should be cool.

I'll be sure to post some pics when I get back and then I'll be a fully fledged member of the outdoor volcano team. Wooo!

ive been to the lake district myself and its a nice place even though the weather wasn't great when i went, i hope you have a great time and look forward to seeing some pic when you get back

if you are going to fill a bag before you leave you may want to try that when your at home first and see how long a bag lasts (they don't last 5 min when ive got one :p:p:p ) just to see if it will give you half hour or so (never left it that long myself) i just don't want you to get there fill a bag and be finding out that it doesn't last that long and it spoils your plans

Yeah, I plan to be toking at home on days off or evenings while I'm teaching but these days the people in charge of things like school boards and hiring committees look for reasons not to hire you and drug use is a definite no no. I'm not saying you can't toke and teach or toke and lawyer (verb? sue?) or toke and do anything that isn't being a drug test tester but I can't be seen doing it by anyone who cares and it certainly can't make it into the infinite expanse of the internet where nothing dies...

just use common sense. toke in private. most drug tests are scheduled. So cut yourself off or drink a lot of cranberry juice and maybe get a wizzinator.

If your paranoid about smell vaporizers are awsome for that. But if your going to toke and teach do it in a state or district that won't (can't) drug test you. here in Ontario all you have to say is you haven't been in any criminal activity. no drug tests. hell I knew some of my teachers toked off duty. They never said it publicly but that never kept them from saying they support legalization or allow pro cannabis research projects.

It all depends on who you teach with. I would avoid private right wing schools like the pleague and go liberal private or public. public more so because there more open to law suits.

Forgot to post my outdoor 'cano sesh pics from this summer.

Pictured at the side of the only real lake in the lake district. Lake Bassenthwaite. You can see it was a bit chilly that day but the vapor hit the spot and spurred me on to climb the forth largest mountain in England :eek:
