Hello BB,
Just thought I would post about my ironic weekend.
I have been home for the week, my better half had to have surgery, so it has actually worked out pretty nice as we were practically forced to sit down and chill out together. So Saturday two things happened, first we watched Juno (chick flick but had some funny parts) and it featured a lot of Kimya Dawson tracks, which you also had on one of your previous episodes. Later she picked up the singstar rock game (she is actually a good singer, I am not but I try and be a good sport about it and have a few drinks ) and one of the songs available is a Joss Stone song which aside from your friends username I had never heard of before. This then became "so your little aussie girlfriend Black Beauty is it and her girlfriend Joss have been chatting have you" (all in jest mind you, but she is a non-smoker so she wonders what keeps me so interested I guess).
Anyway, thought I would share. Its off to a wake and bake and mountain biking in the forest preserve so I'll not delay any longer.

lol small world indeed Oldbay!
and how's this for another synchronicity - i'm going in for knee surgery (both knees!) on june 16th and will be immobile for 2 weeks so I might just have to get a hold of Juno (which happens to be in my torrent queue actually!) and, I'm not sure I can get Singstar on the Wii which is the only console I have - but I guess I won't be challenging the boys at the Bungalow to any bowling or Wii Fit games any time soon :p
The wake 'n' bake 'n' mountain bikin' sounds really awesome - would love to see some pics if you ever take your camera with you!
Oh and tell ya missus you're both always welcome to visit the Bungalow down under - my OH doesn't partake either so she will also have company :)

Tee hee.. would hate to think we've been getting you in trouble! :p Not sure where you are based Oldbay, but i guess Joss Stone is mostly uk known, think she's from Devon originally.. not that you'd know from the god-awful transatlantic drawl she's developed. And how annoying are those bloody flake adverts?!
I like some of her music but my adaptation of the name came from a well-used nickname my friends back home bestowed on me :D

I hope your recovery goes well for you. I haven't made up any silly screen names for the wife, but she seems to be bouncing back quickly, her biggest problem is she refuses to just stay put. I can't say I'd be any different though.
No sing star for the Wii, I use my PS2 for that but I have the Wii and Fit as well.
I've not taken a camera but I probably should. It is scenic and all, but one thing I guess that is special is we have a lot of rare and cool looking birds. I don't usually stay put long enough to see them all as I ride by but they would make for good pictures.

LOL, no I would like to believe I am passed the point where a quick chat or even taking too much of a glance at another gets me in any sort of real trouble shy of a sore rib. :p Don't worry, we get plenty of our US artists visit London for a day and develop a strong British accent by the weekend
It sounds as if your friends have you pegged then so that is never a bad thing.
