There was a post a while back about Rick Steves involvement in the Medical Cannabis movement in the US.
I had committed to go to the preview in Portland Oregon. The film takes us to a talk show like setting with Rick Steves as host. It is quite thought provoking and sites cannabis facts specific to Washington state. These facts can be easily replaces as the campaign moves on to other states. The ACLU plans to evaluate the effectiveness of the films use in 2009. Meanwhile it is being made available to the masses through the website at marijuanaconversations.org
I spoke with ACLU's (Americans Civil Liberties Union) Alison Chin Holcom and MAMA's (Mothers Against Misuse and Abuse) and have uploaded them here:
