Makes about 8-10 big chewy cookies

75g Sugar
75g Brown sugar
110g Butter/margarine
Half a large egg
*OPTIONAL*! 3.5g or an eighth of an ounce of bud, hash or kif (finely ground, use a blender or coffee grinder)
140g plain flour
half a teaspoon of baking soda
a pinch of salt
chocolate chips/ chunks

lightly fry the buds, hash or kif in about half the butter at a low heat for about 15-20 minutes (be careful not to burn it though, sizzling like chips being fried is not good!),
The best way is to put your hob on the lowest temp setting and put the butter in a frying pan on it, wait till the butter has all melted, then add the weed and leave it for 15-20 mins
then allow it to cool
Mix sugar, brown sugar, butter and egg
stir in the weed butter
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt
mix it all together, adding the choc chips last

Spoon dollops of the mix onto a greased baking tray. At this point you can also press big chunks of chocolate into the middle for an extra gooey chocolatey surprise

Bake for 8-10 minutes at 190 degrees celcius

Dosage: these are pretty strong cookies, so try a half or even a quarter first (that's if you can manage not to eat the whole thing!)

Wow cool !! Sounds yummy, thanks DF!

We were talking about choc chip cookies in the vapour lounge the other night as PurseWarden and his lovely OH were making oatmeal choc chip cookies (not green).

So I hope it's okay with PW if I share this recipe, but apparently these are the easiest and tastiest cookies to make, I suppose all u need to do now is substitute the normal butter req'd for mull butter....

Text from, lots of pictures to make it easy too:

Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1.5 cups white flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups oatmeal
1.5-2 cups chocolate chips
Tools:
Mixing bowl
Spoon (Wooden)
1 cup
1/2 cup
1 teaspoon
an oven
a cookie sheet
Ready? Then lets begin my illustrated guide to making some cookies that will blow your mind.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Mix sugars and butter together. You want the butter to be soft. I usually take it out of the fridge a few hours before I start making my cookies. You can microwave the butter but it just doesn’t work out as well.

Add eggs + vanilla, mix.

Mix in Flour, Salt and Baking Soda

Mix in the oatmeal

Stir in some semi-sweet chocolate chips I recommend between 1.5 - 2 cups. Mini chocolate chips work well too.

The finished dough won’t look like your typical non-oatmeal dough since there’s less flour in it. That’s fine and expected. It should look like the picture below.

I recommend 3 sheets of 12 cookies each, cooked one sheet at a time.

Depending on your oven and cookie size each batch should take about 10-15 minutes. I average about 12 minutes per cookie sheet.
Here’s the most important part of this recipe and where I usually lose people. You have to take them out before they look totally done. People who haven’t tried my cookies fight me on this, but trust me, you absolutely need to take them out earlier than you would expect. Judging exactly when is a skill but I’d recommend taking them out when you feel they could use another 3-4 minutes.

This is what they should look like when you remove them from the oven. Let them sit on the pan for 3-5 minutes and then place them on a flat surface. They will firm up, they will be delicious. This batch turned into the finished product in the top picture. If you take them out when they look done they will not be the best cookies in the world.

I think I'm gonna try this cookie recipe, but my concern is the smell.

Is cooking with cannabis going to cause a big smell of weed? I live in a flat/appartment and am concerned that my neighbors will smell it.

Peace Elfa..

Don't worry about the smell, it smells a little off, but nothing major. Burned plant matter gives off a smell that you can't diguise very well, but baked in an oven with an oven fan on high is only recognizable if you know what it smells like from personal experience. Now if you brew beer, it would be a good time to get the wort going for an hour, as you can't hide that steamy wonderful smell ;)

the smelliest thing will be frying the weed in the butter. And that can be a pretty powerful smell, so I'd shut all windows while you're doing it, and then get plenty of incense on the go before you open them up again!

You will get really high, the munchies will kick in, and you will have a third one, then you will wake up the next day with a weed hangover/still high.

For a few months I'd been saving my vaped weed and hash in a cup, making sure not to vape more than 2 bags or sometimes three so that there would be enough THC left. We cooked with it the other day, it was maybe 8 grams of vaped material and we got insanely stoned :D

If anyone was thinking of doing it I'd definitely recommend it. We put it in oil on a low heat, then turned it off and left it overnight. It worked wonders and I actually have 2 brownies left in my freezer for a later date.

The Volcano just keeps giving

BEFORE any of you experiment with cooking with weed...
MAKE DAMN SURE YOU ARE NOT A SIMPLEMINDED LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICER!!!

I cannot emphasize this simple rule enough.
