Yet Another Pre-First Grow!

Hey Guys, I have many questions and such little time, so i'm going for a small grow 1 or 2 plants to test the field and i was wondering what the smallest area of space would be to grow these plants in would be? Also i've heard people suggest T5 lighting, would this be good for such a small space and just coat the container in that shiny like space blanket stuff, i think its mylar? The other thing I am really worried about is odor as I know it can somtimes create such an awsome overpowering stench :D What are the most effective ways to deal with this?

yeah t5 for lighting is the way to go for small places. The heat output is low and the lighting is adequate. As far as stink look up the carbon filters. They'll run ya a bit of cash but it pretty much gets ALL the smell out. Unless you open the door to water them, then you'll let a little out. Thats pretty much the only way I've heard of to 100 percent get rid of the smell.

you could also consider, cfl's. I have done some experimaentation with 45 watt cfl = 150 watts output. 4 - 6 of those mounted on a board, and wired...put out some really nice light, or you can strategically place them. I get nostalgic with the old tubes, but they just don't put out the light for the buck. try the cfl's, I think you will be swayed. Peace

p.s. I have a couple friends that swear by the big 125 watt mogul based cfl's and they grow in wardrobes
