Not all of those will play well with each other so read lables and try not to over dose on one mineral. Most of them all have a mixture of minerals that are fine with in their own product line, if you go outside that product line then just watch the mineral you are mixing is all I am trying to say.

Thanks Dr. Weed great post!

Hi everyone,

Sorry to revive an old thread, but got another question here. I was trying to read along with Zandor's feeding chart from show 39 (picture of it attached to this post (http://www.thegrowreport.com/Forums/showpost.php?p=29574&postcount=4)), but when I asked the local supply store about a B1 formula, Fat Flower and Awesome Blossome, he referred me to (click for links) Superthrive (http://www.planetnatural.com/site/superthrive.html), Bio Nova's Super Bloomer (0-13-14) (http://greenbomb.com/nutrients/bionovaPK1314.asp), and Sugar Daddy (http://www.technaflora.com/products.php?product=20), respectively.

Does anyone have experience with using these three additives, and are they "equivalent" to the additives Zandor mentioned, or did the guy have no clue what he was talking about? I am finding myself getting overwhelmed and confused at the amount of additives out there, hehe, and I just wanted to read along with Zandor's chart because I knew that I could at least trust that.

I guess I'm just wondering if Superthrive, Super Bloomer and Sugar Daddy could be use in the same way (though in appropriate amounts) as the B1, Fat Flower and Awesome Blossome, but when I look at the composition, they don't seem to correspond exactly with the other, so I don't want to just use them "in place of" what Zandor recommended. I've been doing google searches but they have so far been unfruitful...

Similar products. Sounds like He merely attempted to fill your needs with what he has, and or trusts in stock.

Don't get carried away with a bunch of additives. I have grown more consistently,,and better quality since cutting back to basic nutrient programs...adding calmag when necessary, and a bloom booster from week 2-6 of flower
.

I once used all these things, but like Zandor points out. If you mix 2 much of the same thing...you can overdose your babies.

Peace, God Bless

Superthrive is not the exact same as B1.

Yes they have B1 in their formula but there are also heavy metals in the same formula I just don't care for.

Home Depot sells B1 and it's cheap. A single gallon is like 6 bucks and sold under Western States Brand.

Superthrive alive can burn your plants in a hurry so if you do use it use with caution!

Check the labels of the products and read what makes up the macro and micro minerals. They are listed on the label,

Most of the products I suggest you can find on eBay too.

Happy growing

Thanks Dr.Weed too for your post....good information for people to read and store for future knowledge. :)

Peace
