Country music legend Willie Nelson is to play a one-off gig in the Granite City.
The grizzled singer-songwriter will perform at Aberdeen's Music Hall next May in what will be one of his most intimate shows in the UK for years.
Now 74, he has worked with fellow luminaries such as Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash.
A keen environmentalist, the Texan is also a well-known advocate for softer laws on cannabis.
Joyce Summers of Aberdeen Performing Arts said: "We are thrilled, it is a real coup for the Music Hall.
"It is marvellous that such a huge star should make time on his schedule for a more compact venue than he is accustomed to."
