I've been doing some searching on the web to answer this question: What is the best time of day to harvest?
I have gotten many different answers that have left me confused and I have no real answer. I am curious to find out the opinion of anyone here that has had experience with growing. Let me know, the clock is ticking if you know what I mean!!

:) I'm under the impression that the best time to harvest is the first thing in the morning. :)
I asked Zandor almost the same question not to long ago. (Below is my question and his answer.)
Q: Is there any truth in the practice of giving a plant 24 hrs. of darkness before harvest to increase its resin production? (sT)
A: You know I swear I have seen a difference but there is no real proof scientifically speaking that I know of. It could just be wishful thinking because they do grow more in the dark. (Z)

I spent most of my adult life in Oregon, growing both in, and outdoors. I've found that in-door crop's, are ready when they're ready, so I am of the opinion to harvest indoors at your own convienience. When working outdoors I like to be in my garden well before daylight, and am on my way home by the time most people are having breakfast

i don't believe it makes a difference what time you chop although I like to give at least a day and sometimes more complete darkness before the final chop, this is advice I took from an old time grower when I started and it just got to be habit for me never done it any other way. and for the few days prior I don't top up the water just let the roots suck the res dry so when I chop the plant has already started to dry out.

Thank you for all of your help everyone that posted. Being that there is more than one set of plants in the flower cycle it will be difficult to give them 24 hours of darkness before harvest. Unless, of course, I move the ones that are ready to a different location, which will be difficult. Sounds interesting though, and it makes sense.
