Again sorry if this is basic. I have always read how delicate a plant's roots are. I am wondering if there is a technique or tips for adding a cutting or seedling to the hydroton without damaging the delicate roots? when i have a cutting in a rapid rooter its a little easier but my local shop gave me some various plants from their clonex machine and they are just the plant. A small stem and the roots. No rapid rooter or rockwool.
Thanks

The answer is...
...put a layer of hydroton in the bottom of the net pot, then spread the roots out gently over the top of that layer, and then while holding the clone straight gently fill it up the rest of the way with more hydroton.

I could not have said better myself.
Listen to show 68, I will be moving the project plants into grow rocks and giving details that just about say the same thing posted here.
Peace
